The Month of May is going to be a very busy one at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab. We will be celebrating Mother’s Day, National Nursing Home week, and the beginning of Summer! National Pet Day!

We had a very special visitor on National Pet Day. Thanks to one of our CNA’s, Sommer, we had the joy of meeting Mocha the goat! We all enjoyed the smiles as our residents met and petted the adorable Mocha.

Activity Highlight

Throughout the month of May, we will be hosting several activities outside in our courtyard. We always welcome spring donations of flowers and tomato plants for our residents to set out and enjoy. All donations can be dropped off at the facility or picked up from your place of business by one of our staff

Ruth needed a place to heal, as well as, a place to receive physical and occupational therapy tailored for her specifically for her needs. After working closely with our therapy team on individualized goals, Ruth is ready to return home.
